Samanthaβs journey into the sweet world of pastries began in her childhood kitchen, crafting cakes next to her mom in her early teen years. What started as a hobby quickly spiraled into a passionate pursuit, leading her to sell her creations to family and friends.
Her professional path in the culinary arts took root in high school and flourished as she delved into advanced studies at the Culinary Institute of America, where she not only honed her skills but also earned a Bachelor's in Business Management with a concentration in advanced baking and pastry.

Her quest for mastery took her from the patisseries of France to the vineyards of St. Helena, California, enriching her repertoire with specialized knowledge in chocolates, pastry techniques, and culinary innovation. After graduation and before working in bakeries across NYC, Samantha interned with celebrity pastry chef Ron Ben-Israel. It was here where she refined her artistry in sugar flower techniques and advanced cake application.
Choosing to root her dreams back home, Samantha has rapidly ascended the culinary ladder, and now at 27, she joins Silk as the Executive Pastry Chef. Her favorite pastry? Less is more with a simple, classic chocolate chip cookie.
Away from the flour and sugar, youβll find Samantha reading a book, going for a swim, or snuggling up to her cats.
